We are well into the new year and just wanted to update everyone on some activities.

First, we did donate $281.00 to Women Beyond Cancer from our wreath sales!

Don't forgot about the fox hunt show at Highfields on Friday February 8th, classes 2, 3 and 4 are sidesaddle.. ALA is also sponsoring the stirrup cup so any donations for that would be appreciated! The show starts at 10AM so we should have our stirrup cup in place by 9.

We continue to practice at Ann Lawhornes on Monday at 1 with Mark Thompson.

We have scheduled a sidesaddle clinic on March 7th and 8th, Sue Sisco will be the instructor! Sue has shown aside for many years and held several clinics, should be a great time! (www.suesiscosunfield.com) The clinic will be held at Lisa Darden's lovely covered arena off Stiefel Rd.. The format for the clinic will be a series of semi-private lessons 1-1/2 hours in length.. $100 per day per rider. Auditors are welcome and we ask for a donation to FOTAS. If you haven't ridden sidesaddle before please contact Betty Alexander 803-761-1637 and we will arrange for you to try sidesaddle at the clinic.

More details to follow on the clinic but would like to get responses for ladies planning on attending.

Dont forget the Aiken Horse Show April 5, 6 and 7.

We are scheduling a meeting on Thursday February 28th. Carolyn Reese Potter has offered to host it where she is staying off Dupree.. directions will be forthcoming. Thanks Carolyn!
